ON-DEMAND WEBINAR

AI Model Driven Optimization for Underwater Vehicles

AI Webinar - SHIFT Submarine

Overview:

Designing next-generation underwater vehicles means balancing hydrodynamic performance with packaging constraints. Traditional CFD is accurate—but too slow and expensive to explore the full design space. Teams settle for "good enough."

In this webinar, we show how Physics AI changes the game. Using SHIFT-Submarine, an AI surrogate trained on full-fidelity CFD, we'll show one rapidly evaluating several of design candidates — unlocking high-performance geometries that traditional workflows miss. We show how an AI model driven optimization can dramatically compress design cycle times across different submarine programs.

What You'll Learn:

  • Building the Physics AI model: A deep dive into training the SHIFT-Submarine model using simulation data.
  • Accelerated Optimization: Integrating an optimizer directly with AI inference to run thousands of design permutations in minutes.

Who Should Attend:

  • Engineering and R&D leaders looking to leverage AI to reduce design cycle time and cost
  • Product teams and technical executives evaluating the strategic value of foundational models in design
  • Simulation, CFD engineers, and Designers interested in leveraging ML surrogate models for design exploration and optimization
  • ML researchers and practitioners working on physical simulations or model training
  • Anyone curious about how agentic AI and Physics AI are reshaping engineering design
